Anitek released a new album made together with guitarist Eric Condevaux called ‘ExtraLocal’. It’s their second collaboration after their first release called ‘BlueSuedeThrough’. The album’s main instrument is obviously the guitar, which gets company from mellow trip-hop backdrop, the occasional brass instrument and ambient sounds which together form a great loungy mixture.
One of my favourite tracks is ‘Natural Form’ which almost could have been a bonus track on an album from Emancipator. A fun fact is, as Anitek said, ´all 10 tracks were recorded in a tight ass one bedroom apartment in 5 days!´. There’s nothing on the album that gives away the short recording time, if you’re into instrumental beats; check it!
