Tom Lammerse

Tom Lammerse was born as Thomas Bastiaan Lammerse in 1994, in Amsterdam. Tom lived the first years of his life in his city of birth but after his parents’ divorce at the age of 9 he moved to Oegstgeest. Being inspired by the local bmx’ers he started riding himself. It didn’t take long for his focus to switch from riding to filming after getting a video camera for his fifteenth birthday. Since then, Tom has been filming bmx with great passion.
Tom is best known for his bmx edits with Roy van Kempen and small film jobs for the dutch bmx shop Soulcycle; although his name can also be seen in the BMX dvd “This Is United” among the big names. Tom’s edits are best known for his choice of angles, warm colours and original choice of music. Even though Tom loves bmx he isn’t planning on limiting himself to only filming that, as he is already browsing studies like the Amsterdam film academy. A definite choice is yet to be made, but there’s no doubt his college years will be spend in the city of his roots.
