As you might know Aaron and I are in Liverpool now for the DUB street jam fueled by Monster. The jam took place on saturday and all I can say is, it was a mind blowing day for sure. Both the top killers (Dan Lacey, Ben Lewis, Paul Ryan, Greg Illingworth, Ollie Evans, Dan Paley) and the local riders killed it on every single spot. at the end we rode 4 spots because of the fact that everybody kept on killing it. We only got kicked out of the first spot by the police after we rode it for two hours straight so that did not bother that much at all.
Jamie Shipston took the win in amateur class with some crazy moves like one-footed can-can grinds and he grinded down the Everton Brow kinker too. Sam Cunningham became second and old veteran Isaac Clarke became third.
In Pro class their were a lot of crazy moves pulled. Dan Paley dropped hammers on every single spot (540 down the Everton Brow stairs, fakie crooked to indian) Dan Lacey killed it as well (360 Everton Crow to the street, Sabertooth the rail) but Ben Lewis took the win at the end. He locked on stuff like: ice hard 180 down the rail, pedal grind 180 up rail and a pedal grind to manual pegs 180.
Aaron and I want to thank Jack from DUB for organizing the jam, Ben and Creasy for the free cocktails and all the locals who showed us how crazy the scene and level of riding is in Liverpool.
